Vantage, one of Sri Lanka's leading menswear brands under Ebony Holdings, required a modern e-commerce platform to strengthen its digital presence, improve online sales, and provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.

As part of Vantage's digital transformation strategy, Konekt implemented Shopify and integrated automation tools to streamline operations and enhance customer engagement — from order fulfillment through to product discovery and support.

The challenge

Vantage's growth ambitions were held back by a platform that couldn't keep pace:

  • Limited scalability and marketing integration — the existing platform lacked the flexibility and integrations needed to support growing online sales, digital marketing campaigns, and customer acquisition.
  • Manual delivery fulfillment — order fulfillment required manual coordination between the e-commerce platform and logistics providers, slowing down processing and creating inefficiencies.
  • Growing customer service demand — as online sales increased, inquiries about products, sizing, order status, and recommendations placed additional pressure on the support team.
  • Product discovery and engagement — the business needed a better way to help customers find relevant products and improve conversion through more personalized shopping experiences.

Our approach

Platform first. We began with a full migration to Shopify, giving Vantage a scalable, secure, marketing-ready foundation built to support future growth and omnichannel sales.

Automate fulfillment. With the platform live, we integrated Karts Delivery with Daraz Express (DEX) Shipping so orders sync automatically with the courier system — removing manual coordination from the fulfillment process.

Elevate the shopping experience. We layered in an AI-powered shopping assistant and a series of UX improvements — faster product discovery, mobile-friendly browsing, simplified checkout, and better categorization and filtering — to help customers find what they need and convert more easily, while reducing load on the support team.

What we built

Shopify e-commerce platform — Shopify was implemented as the core e-commerce platform, providing a scalable, secure, and marketing-ready foundation for future business growth and omnichannel sales initiatives.

Automated delivery fulfillment with Karts Delivery — Karts Delivery was integrated with Daraz Express (DEX) Shipping to automate order fulfillment workflows. Orders now sync automatically with the courier system, reducing manual processing and improving delivery efficiency.

AI-powered customer assistant — an AI shopping assistant was implemented to answer common customer inquiries instantly, assist with product discovery, provide personalized recommendations, improve engagement throughout the shopping journey, and reduce workload on the customer service team.

Enhanced shopping experience — the Shopify implementation delivered faster product discovery, a mobile-friendly experience, a simplified checkout process, multiple payment options, and improved product categorization and filtering.
